About Palms Inn

Palms Inn is situated a short drive from the main shopping centre in Polokwane and offers guests an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Guests have a choice of 27 en-suite rooms each comfortably furnished with a double or twin beds and a TV with M-Net. Tea and coffee-making facilities are provided and the rooms are cooled with ceiling fans and heated with a wall heater during winter. Breakfast as well as buffet dinners are available on request. Breakfast is R95 per person and dinner R130 per person.

Guests can relax around the pool while enjoying a refreshing drink at the cocktail bar and there is gym and Jacuzzi for those wanting to stay fit. The inn has two conference facilities and caters for all your wedding needs, with or without the assistance of a planner.

For guests looking to explore Polokwane, there are various attractions to be found. The Bakone Malapa Museum is regarded as a living museum and here guests can watch the tribesmen practising long-standing traditions to enlighten visitors about Africa’s people. Game viewing can be done at the Polokwane Game Reserve or the Wolkberg Wilderness Area, or visit the Modjadji Cycad Reserve which is home to some of the oldest and largest cycad species on earth.

Not a friendly place to stay, receptionist and stuff makes noise in the morning, No easy access to the place in the evening

The most disturbing thing was arriving to a place that bore no resemblance whatsoever to the pictures on the booking website. The owners were unfriendly. At no point were we addressed by name. We were told we could not dine there as we did not indicate that we required food when we first made the booking. There was no parking available. Overall we were made to feel very unwelcome. The room we got was drenched in insecticide spray. The toilet/ bathroom had no window or extractor fan. Signage not easy to see in the dark especially with rain. Check in was fast Room was comfortable and so was the bed,  however only 1 set of towels in a room for 2 persons.Breakfast was very disappointing for the price one pays. Not worth it
