Went out of yhere way to help us pick the best campsite and show us around. Set the mood for a chilled stay which was perfect.

We didn't stay at the camp even though we paid in full. The ablution facilities were really bad. The smell from the toilet were awful and the shower cubicle didn't have a roof on or a door fitted and you need to write your name on a list to make an appointment to shower. The electricity were tripping. Upon arrival the campsite were wet after they have watered the lawn. The campsite is next to a non moving water pond and you could see the mosquitos on it. If you put up your campsite you have to make provision for vehicles passing by. This is really not what we've exoected.

We had a great 2 night stay camping in the site near to the main guesthouse. The site was nice and secluded but still close to facilities and well equipped. The owner Deon is very welcoming and helpful and he has done a great job making the sites feel green and lush even though in the desert. (irrigation comes from the dam and the trees provide shade and privacy) The actual farm is huge and one can do lots of walks or drives or just enjoy the sounds of nature and the stars. Get away from it all but not too far from the town. Great location!

My friends and I  had a lovely New Years experience at oudekloof guest house , getting in touch with nature , we always kept ourselves entertained . There's just so many things to do at this place , it's amazing ! Only issue we had was that me and 7 other of my friends got charged R160 per person instead of R120. And we are currently waiting in a refund or for someone to get back in contact with us :).Regards Leigh Motaleb
