a beautiful setting with very basic accommodation. there was some sort of animal living in the roog or between the walls which was a bit disturbing. the little kitchen area has no running water or washing up facilities and there are no bins provided. The staff was very offhand and unhelpfull and it took 15 mins for someone to let us off the property in the morning when we wanted to leave. lovely swimming pool

It is lovely scenery.  The room and everything was excellent, clean and neat.  Unfortunately we had a heat wave of 43 degrees which no one could do anything about.  No air-con did not add value.  The ceiling fan did not help.  Otherwise it is a place that really can be recommended.  Excellent breakfast and outstanding friendly service.

From the moment we drove through the gates I knew this was not for me.Bedding not ironed and even dirty in one of our party's rooms. The photograph on the landing page is totally misleading.Their animals, in particular the horses are neglected.Very misleading and disappointing.

Our first visits years ago were very enjoyable, when the Southey's managed it.5 years ago we were disappointed with the management. We were very disappointed with our visit now.Only one bath towel. Dustbin in bathroom not cleaned from previous people.Tea Trolley needs to be replaced.Lock on Sliding door difficult to open and close.Dinner was adequate, tasty, but chicken in place of lamb served. Will not be returning again and unfortunately could not recommend this stop over.
