Ndarakwai Camp
Mount Kilimanjaro National Park

About Ndarakwai Camp
Ndarakwai Camp is a permanent tented lodge on the Ndarakwai Ranch. With views of both Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru, the camp is nestled in a protected forest of towering fig, and yellow-barked acacias that line the seasonal Ngare Nairobi River.
Catering to a maximum of just 30 guests, the camp offers an intimate and relaxed atmosphere, where your every need is catered for. Mealtimes are flexible and can be arranged with your guide and the camp managers.
Guests can relax in camp during the day, or take in the variety of wildlife and cultural activities that are on offer. Our main activities are guided full or half day walks, game drives, and night game drives. You can also visit local Maasai villages to photograph and buy authentic beaded jewellery.
Picnic lunches, bush breakfasts, and a bush campfire and bar are easily arranged. In the evening guests can gather around either of two indoor fireplaces, or an outdoor campfire for snacks and sundowners.
Come and embrace the African night, see the elephants that stray past camp, witness the nosy bushbuck outside your tent, and experience the haunting cries of the hungry bush babies.
