About Nata Lodge

Nata Lodge is an oasis set among the Mokolwane palms on the edge of the Makgadikgadi pans. It is ideally situated close to the entrance of the Nata Sanctuary, just off the main road, 10 km from Nata Village. This is the junction to the Okavango, Chobe and Francistown areas where activities include game drives, bird watching and exciting excursions.

Nata Lodge offers thatched chalets set in rustic African style, custom-designed safari tents which are en-suite on platforms with all the comforts of a typical luxury safari camp, or camp sites with semi-open ablutions.

This area incorporates a multitude of salt pans and vast grass plains dotted by palm islands and forms the Great Makgadikgadi which comprises the largest area of salt pans in the world, covering some 37,000 square km in overall extent.

We camped at Nata Lodge for two nights when we returned from Nxai Pan. The camping areas are nice and mostly shaded some stands have electricity points others don't. The dinner we had in the restaurant was the best! definitely try the oxtail sooo yummy. Will definitely use it as a stop over again.

A place to recommend. They had everything we needed. The sunset trip to the pan was very memorable. Dinner and breakfast without complaint. I wished we could have stayed one more day thou.
