Please note that full payment will be taken within 48 hours after the booking has been made.
Beekman Holidays acts as primary letting agent for this rental property. Any interest earned on funds that you pay in respect of your rental booking, earned between the time you pay and the time that Beekman Holidays pays those funds over to the rental property, will accrue to Beekman Holidays.
Check out time is strictly 10:00 am daily.
Guests who booked and paid for their accommodation using a credit card will need to present the same card at check-in. A security fee of R1500 will be taken as a pre-authorization upon arrival.
Please be aware that Mount Amanzi does not cater for nor in fact allow student bookings as the resort is not equipped for such nor is suitable. Should you be in the process of booking, or have booked this resort for purposes of students, please contact your reservations office for guidance to make suitable alternative arrangements. This resort has instructed us that due to the above, bookings for students will not be allowed occupation.
To ensure well managed access to backup power during loadshedding, please note that our Resorts operate generators in defined timeslots. Please consult your Resort's Reception for more information in relation to resort-specific timeslots.
GUEST IDENTIFICATION
You and your guests must provide proof of identification such as a valid ID, driver's license, or passport. Without proof of identification, the resort may deny you occupation.
CONFIRMATION LETTER
You or your guests must produce a confirmation letter in hardcopy or digital form at the time of check-in. The resort reserves the right to allocate a different unit, of the same size, to that indicated on the confirmation letter.
NO OVERCROWDING
If, in the opinion of management, more than the stipulated number of persons occupy the unit, you or your party may be required to vacate the unit and you will be liable for the applicable penalty fee.
NO NOISE AND NUISANCE
Should you and/ or your guests be instructed to quieten down or to stop being a nuisance to other guests, you may be asked to leave the resort and will not be entitled to a refund on your booking.
GROUP BOOKINGS
Some resorts have specific conditions requiring additional deposits, and indemnities when making a group booking. It is industry practice to charge a refundable deposit to cover the cost of replacing any breakages that may occur. Please check directly with the resort on what their Group Booking Policy is after receiving your booking confirmation.
NO SUB-LETTING
Renting out a unit prior to getting approval from management is not allowed. You may not "split" the booking period amongst guests that are not indicated on the official confirmation letter. If management, at their discretion, finds that you've not abided by these requirements, you and/ or your party may not occupy the unit, or will be asked to vacate the unit, and a penalty fee will be charged to you.
BREAKAGES
Any damage to the resort property, including the unit/s and their contents, is the financial liability of the guest in occupation, and may exceed the breakage deposit paid at check in, depending on damages incurred during occupation.
INDEMNITY
Signing an indemnity form is standard practice. Only a person over 18 years may sign the Guest Registration Card at check-in. The indemnifier must remain in occupation for the duration of the stay. If the indemnifier vacates the unit, the remaining occupants may be asked to vacate the resort.
NO PETS
Pets are not allowed at the resort, except for certified support animals. Failing to adhere to this may lead to a penalty fee and a request to remove the pet(s) from the resort.
NO SMOKING
Smoking in units, on patios, or any of the other buildings on the resort premises is not allowed by law. Should Management, at their discretion, find that you and/ or your party has violated this policy, you will be liable to pay a fine.
LIABILITY
We accept no liability whatsoever for any injury, death, loss, damage, or expense suffered by you, your guests, or anyone else taking occupation with you, arising from any act of God, theft, strike, fire or the acts or omissions of any other person, including but not limited to the local or national government, limitations, restrictions and requirements for visas, permits, licenses and certificates on border controls and immigration (if applicable), military, police and security services intervention, international and local travel, movement of goods and persons, occupation of accommodation and the use and enjoyment of facilities, amenities and public and private venues, while under the jurisdiction of such local or national government
