Conveniently located just a short drive from the N1 highway, Morning Glory Cottages is adjacent to the stunning South Eastern Shoreline of The Gariep Dam. This ideal location positions us as a convenient stopover for those en route to PE, Port Alfred, Addo, Plettenberg Bay, and beyond.



Our accommodation comprises six fully furnished and wonderfully decorated units. Ranging from one to two bedrooms, each cottage offers twin or double beds with an en-suite or private bathroom. Enjoy a relaxing bath or refreshing shower, and make use of the small kitchenette equipped with a bar fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, a microwave, as well as crockery and cutlery.



Each suite is spacious and comes with a range of amenities including a TV with selected DSTV channels, a ceiling fan, and Wi-Fi access. For added comfort, we offer extra blankets and electric blankets during the winter months. Additionally, air conditioning is available in the main bedrooms.



Indulge in delectable Karoo cuisine prepared by our talented on-site chef in our inviting dining room. For those who prefer to cook their own meals, we provide braai facilities in our lapa area and offer a splash pool for a refreshing dip on hot summer days.



Morning Glory Cottages also caters to corporate guests, offering a conference venue capable of accommodating up to 20 delegates. Secure parking is available on the premises, giving you peace of mind during your stay.



Guests can enjoy a range of activities on the farm, including nature walks, stargazing, bird watching, interacting with farm animals, exploring the thoroughbred horse stud, and mountain biking on our scenic farm tracks. Please note that we do not allow pets on the premises, and advance dinner reservations are required. Limited cell reception is available.
