Mmabolela is a 6500 ha private nature reserve and natural heritage site (No 219) situated on the Limpopo river. Located 20km north of Swartwater in the Limpopo bushveld if boast a rich biodiversity of vegetation types and wildlife both big and small. For the outdoor enthusiasts it offers opportunities for self-drive game viewing including night drives, bush walks, biking, bird watching and photography. The Weederdooper homestead consists of the original farmhouse and two stand alone cottages. The farm house has a combined lounge-dining room, three bedrooms (one double and two singles), a shared bathroom (bath and shower) and a separate toilet. One cottage has a comfortable sitting room and two bedrooms, one with two single beds and one with a double bed, each with en-suite shower and toilet. The back cottage has a master bedroom en-suite with a king bed; and a adjacent twin bedroom with its own bathroom. All together Weederdooper can accommodate 14 guests.

The homestead is looked after by friendly staff who clean daily and assist in the kitchen. The well equipped kitchen includes a 5-plate gas hob, two electric ovens , two fridges and a deep freeze.
