Die toer met oom Giel was baie interessant, die Oom het 'n passie vir dit wat hy doen.

This little oasis away from everything is ideal for a quiet getaway. The room is nice and the BBQ area under the stars are great. An absolute must is going on the fossil tour on the back of the bakkie. It's so interesting to see their beautiful farm and learn about the fossils they discover there.

I loved being away from 'civilization' - but with hot water to shower! The stars at night were fantastic. I saw some great birds as well and did a lot of walking. never got to see the fossils as I couldn't drag myself away from the bush camp area.

What a lovely gem! Peaceful, quiet and the most beautiful starry sky. We loved the tranquil atmosphere, sitting by the fire in a nice and big fireplace outside. The beds and hot shower were lovely and just what a tired body needed after 12 hours on the road. We really liked the outside kitchen setup. Well sheltered and all the basics you need.

The Mesosaurus Bush Camp is set amongst a Stunning back drop of Quiver Trees where one can view the most Magical sunsets. We camped under a tree with a huge active Sociable Weaver nest that was absolutely fascinating to watch. The Mesosaurus tour of fossils and ancient lava rocks is a definite must. Here again you will encounter beautiful trees amidst beautiful scenery. We so wish we could have stayed longer. Don't miss out on this hidden treasure.
