About Melton Wold Guest Farm
Melton Wold Guest Farm was established in 1935 and is now the perfect destination for conferences, family gathering, birthdays, and weddings. The large farm house consists of single, double and family rooms and the main part of the farm dates back to 1889. All our rooms are equipped with fireplaces and/or wall mounted heaters, fans and each bed also has an electric blanket. We are the oldest guest farm in South Africa!Relax in the comfortable lounge or attractive ladies' bar or enjoy a home-cooked meal. Features include a swimming pool, bowling green, tennis court, and a playground for the children. Spend tranquil evenings at the outdoor boma not far from the guest house, where the magnificent sunsets and galaxy of stars can really be appreciated, while your hosts Willem, Ronel and their staff provide a scrumptious feast around a huge log fire. An airstrip is also available if you wish to fly ! We are the oldest guest farm in South Africa!
Safari: Game drives can be booked at extra costs.
Wedding Venues: We cater for 100 guests. If you want a traditional Karoo wedding, then we are the place!
Conference Venues: We can accommodate 40 delegates. We have free wi-fi available.
Family friendly: We have family rooms with or without fireplaces. We have a playground, trampoline, swimming pool, cycling, decoids, table tennis. Nannies can be arranged to look after the children!
