About Mediterranean Villa

Mediterranean Villa is a charming Victorian home built at the turn of the century, located just below Table Mountain and Lion‘s Head in the green residential area of Tamboerskloof. The guests house is within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the city centre, and is also in close proximity to the cableway, V&A Waterfront and Atlantic beaches, with easy access to the major highways and airport.

Accommodation is offered in seven tastefully appointed en-suite bedrooms and one Honeymoon Suite, offering simple comfort with TVs and private phones. French-doors open onto a small patio and the romantic courtyard with citrus and olive trees.

Breakfast is served in the stylish dining room, with its large veranda overlooking the exotic garden with leafy plants and palm leafs trailing above the sparkling blue water of the swimming pool. Gleaming Oregon floors, genuine antiques and original artwork in the communal areas create a feeling of privacy and warm hospitality. Our professional team speaks German English and Xhosa, and we also offer secretarial services, fax and e-mail-facilities, as well as a separate computer for our guests, connected via ISDN.

Around the cosy fireplace in winter or beside the French doors in summer, this stylish venue hosts not only a guest house but also a community centre. Meet local people, admire Cape Town art and culture, and simply have a great time in the Mother City.

Conference Venues: Mediterranean Villa and its unique location is ideal for seminars, conferences and team-building sessions for up to 30 delegates in an elegant, country-style setting.

My daughters and I stayed for two nights after spending five in a VRBO. I wish I had spent all seven in this wonderful guest house. Very safe location. Emaculate. Best value we found in Cape Town.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Mediterranean Villa. It is well located, close to great shops, bars, restaurants and of course the spectacular Table Mountain. It is located on a nice residential street so it is quiet enough to enjoy some relaxation in the gardens or by the pool, yet central enough you can easily walk downtown which I did daily. The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable and the breakfast was delicious. Definitely recommend and I would stay there again.
