We offer four Chalets, each privately positioned within the pristine African bush. Enjoy a good rest in these lovely bedrooms and experience the calls of the wild as wildlife roam around your Chalet. Cool down in your own private sparkling pool, or enjoy your barbecue on the sun deck. Each Chalet has its own barbecue area and a fully equipped kitchen.

We arrived at Maroela chalets on Saturday 21 April and left a day early on Sunday 29 April 2018. The chalet was clean and comfortable and the sounds of lions and hippos at night could make this a great place to stay. Unfortunately though this establishment is under new ownership ( since February 2018) and the new owner has a lot to learn about the hospitality industry. When we mentioned that excessive noise made by the gardener on a Sunday afternoon was not ideal. Her response was that its not her fault that he could only work on a Sunday. The garden cuttings removed during the bush clearing...

We had a friendly welcome and everything was clean, neat, fresh and ready for us. It was superb. It was so nice to cool down after a hot tiring day in the splashpool whilst making a braai and simutanously listening to the night sounds. The beds were comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. Wil definetly visit again.

Loved everything.. from the birds breaking the morning, lions roaring at night time until sunset.

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet that Maroela Chalets offered. Being right on the Lionspruit reserve fence made braaing at night a whole lot more exciting! The unit 1 which we stayed in was clean and neat and had all the utensils we required. We were fortunate to stay in Chalet 2 as well which has a larger deck and the bush is a lot more open. It does cater for 4 people compared to Chalet 1 which caters for 2 people.
