About Market Lodge
The Market Lodge is a hotel situated in the heart of Zanzibar’s business district, and within minutes of Darajani. The hotel is located in a residential area so there will be many friendly faces going about their day.
The hotel has 16 breezy guest rooms, comfortably furnished with double- or twin beds. All rooms contain en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, and have balconies with unique aerial views. There is a rooftop restaurant that serves international cuisine and a Swahili restaurant that serves traditional favourites.
The hotel provides a TV lounge for guests, a safe deposit box for valuables, travel and chauffer drive services from Stone Town, a laundry service and a concierge desk to answer any queries. Child care is available on request, and there is secure parking nearby.
There are many places to visit in the area, including the Stone Town World Heritage Site, the House of Wonders and the slave market in Stone Town. Tours can be arranged with multilingual guides on request.
