The guest suite, situated on the first floor of our home, consists of two bedrooms and two bathrooms with doors leading to a balcony with Marina views, the perfect setting for guests to enjoy their morning coffee or sundowners.

The main bedroom has a king size bed, ceiling fan, a TV with all DSTV channels, a microwave, a bar fridge and an espresso machine. The bathroom is fitted with a toilet, a basin and a spacious shower. The coffee and tea making facilities also serve the second bedroom.

The second – smaller - bedroom has two single beds and a ceiling fan. The private bathroom across the passage has a toilet, a basin and a shower above the bath.

The suite is ideal for a couple, or a family with two children, and also perfectly suited for two people travelling together, who prefer separate bedrooms and bathrooms.

Guests are welcome to make use of the spacious patio area at the water side. Fishing can be done from the canal wall of the property, or from the jetty, and our canoe may be used to explore the Marina and the famous Kowie River.

It is important to note that Marina Magic does not offer any meals, but complimentary rusks and biscuits are available in the guest suite with coffee and tea making facilities. There are several quaint coffee shops and cozy restaurants nearby, that serve hearty breakfasts, delicious lunches and excellent dinners at reasonable prices. A 20-minutes' walk (or a few minutes' drive) will get you to the center of town.

The Marina complex offers the use of a swimming pool and tennis court at no charge. For a small fee, guests can make use of a squash court and a large heated indoor pool that are situated just outside the complex. A 15-20 minutes' walk will get you to the Eastern Beach where you can stroll for hours along beautiful, unspoiled beaches, or alternatively, catch a tan whilst watching the surfers catching a wave… A short drive will take you to some other stunning beaches in Port Alfred and more beaches are to be found along the Sunshine Coast.

The owners Liz & Kevin live on the premises and are happy to socialise. However, if guests prefer to be left to their own devices, they will gladly give them the opportunity and space to do so.

Liz, who is from The Netherlands, speaks Dutch, English, Afrikaans, a bit of German and French. Kevin is born and bred in the Eastern Cape and speaks English and Afrikaans, has a good understanding of the Dutch language and is very knowledgeable about the history of this area and other parts of SA.

PLEASE NOTE: After you have received the booking confirmation, you are requested to submit copies of ID Documents (or copies of passports) of you and the other guest(s) accompanying you. These are required by the Marina Management for security purposes and to be allowed acces to the complex on arrival. Your registration number and other details of your vehicle are also required, but these can be sent the day before arrival. Please also note that a MARINA BOOKING form plus a MARINA NOICE LEVEL form are requested by Marina Management.
