About Mantenga Lodge

The lodge is situated among natural surroundings at the foot of Sheba’s Breasts Mountains overlooking the legendary Execution Rock. Our 39 rooms are tastefully furnished, each with their own en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, television, telephone and tea and coffee-making facilities.

Enjoy the peace and tranquillity, relax at the swimming pool, take a stroll around the gardens or just sit on the deck and enjoy the view of Execution Rock while delighting your palette with the tastes from our a la carte restaurant.

Our rates are extremely competitive and you have the choice between our rustic Execution Rock View Rooms with balcony views overlooking the valley, our luxurious King Solomon Rooms, perfect for the travelling businessperson or our Sheba Rooms which are tremendously popular. For those who are more budget conscious, try the Rider Haggard Rooms which are based next to the pool. We have a few Family Rooms around the lodge, one of which is located in an old church building.

Swaziland has a rich history and cultural background to explore, and Mantenga Lodge is an ideal base from where to get a real feel from the Swazi people.

Bed Levy is included in the rate.

we stayed 3 nights at Mantega Lodge. It is a very beautiful place with a very good restaurant, spacious rooms and a very friendly staff. The garden and pool are lovely and the view from the deck at the Ezulwini valley and execution rock was breathetaking. The rooms can be a bit cleaner. The only thing we dindn't like was that the lodge is actually a stopover for big groups of tourists on the way from Johanesburg to Krugerpark. 2 of the 3 groups we shared the place with, were very noisy so we couldn't enjoy our dinner as much as we would love to. The staff can ask the guide to think about the...

We were 4 people staying just 1 night. The rooms were neat and tidy, well equipped and the bathrooms were also very clean. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant on premises and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again if we go to Swaziland again!

This lodge was easy to find for a first visit to the country and the standard of rooms and service in general was excellent.  Highly recommended.
