About Manor Fest Mountain Cabins

Manor Fest Mountain Cabins is located in beautiful Hout Bay and offers four very charming self-catering log cabins. They have private patios with furniture and braai areas, ensuring guests have their privacy. Each cabin is air-conditioned and has a lounge that is equipped with a TV with selected DStv, a mini CD player and radio. The lounge is open-plan with the fully equipped kitchen which has a breakfast nook.

Cape Ash and Cape Myrtle Cabin each have one bedroom with a queen bed and a bathroom with a shower only. Cape Chestnut and Cape Lilac each have two bedrooms and a shared bathroom with a shower/bath, basin and toilet. The rooms have queen beds and two single beds. A camp cot and a baby bath are available on request.

Guests can enjoy the stunning pool or walk around in the well-maintained garden while enjoying the mountain views. Each cabin also has safe parking next to it and all parking is behind a remote-controlled gate. A cleaning service and laundry service are available at an additional cost.

Hout Bay has a variety of attractions and activities on offer. There are various restaurants, coffee bars and shop in the area and a local flea market is held every Sunday, weather permitting. Guests can take several boat trips from the harbour and includes trips to the seal colony on Duiker Island and a wreck of a floating crane. Sailing and canoeing are also popular and guests can relax on the popular beach. One of the biggest bird sanctuaries in Africa, World of Birds, is less than 2 km from Manor Fest.

The cabin is set in a quiet, beautiful part of Hout Bay, overlooking the mountains. Our host, Caryn was kind and considerate and went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

The Cabin is well equipped and we always appreciate the stocked fresh juice, milk , cereal and .. the bottle Sauvignon Blanc. :-)

BEAUTIFUL PEACEFUL QUIET PLACE ON THE FOOT OF A MOUNTAIN. GOOD EQUIPT WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEED AND VERY NEED AND TIDY. VERY FRIENDLY HOST THAT MADE YOU FEEL WELCOME FROM THE START. WILL DEFINATELY VISIT AGAIN.

Owners are very accommodating and we enjoyed our stay, cabin is great , equipped with aircon, tv, dstv, fridge and so forth.. it was great receiving some extras from Caryn in the fridge and cupboards. Really a great place to relax.

The cabins was comfortably furnished and clean. The fridge was stocked with some complementary items that was very very welcome and enjoyable. Great stay and we will be back when again in the area
