About Maggi May Guest Lodge

Here at the elegant Maggi May Guest Lodge, we cater for the student, traveller, businessman and tourist. Our lodge is very secure with game electric fencing, beams, camera's and alarm system for your safety and well-being. We have recently renovated our Lodge.Our elegant and tranquil location is in the very heart of Midrand situated 10 minutes from the Gautrain, 15 minutes from UNISA SBL and 25 minutes from OR Tambo International Airport. We have a Shuttle for your transportation at an additional fee, in and around the Midrand area as well as to and from UNISA SBL and the OR Tambo International Airport.

We have a single self-catering kitchenette, a lounge, a dining area and braai facility. There are flat screens with DStv in our beautiful bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Our main type of accommodation is self-catering.

I was rather dismayed to find a room with NO TV, and a single towel to be used for two days I made use of this facility.  No one came to make the bed / clean the room after the 1st day I  Spent there.  The kitchen was announced on the Safarinow as communal but with the state it was found (Dirty) I seriously cannot recommend this facility to anyone unless you are a back-packer with little expectations.  What I wish fellow "Lodge Visitors" to know is that this establishment is far from what it portrays on the Safarinow Website...Totaly never visiting this place again.

Bathroom showerhead is leaking a lot of water, was not very nice to put out towels everytime, and the door of shower does not close proper.Overall very neat.
