Royal Jozini’s Lisango Lezulu Lodge
About Royal Jozini’s Lisango Lezulu Lodge
Lisango Lezulu (meaning Heaven’s Gate) Lodge is a beautiful self-catering lodge located on the slopes of the Lebombo Mountains in the Big 5 designated area of the Royal Jozini Big 6 Reserve. This pristine game reserve is in Swaziland, close to the South African border where Lake Jozini spreads northwards, is an ideal bush breaks getaway, where you can also book a tiger fishing charter (or game viewing from the boat).
Lisango Lezulu has breathtaking views over the valley and to the Jozini Lake in the distance. The main lodge has a large covered patio leading to the pool, viewing deck and braai area.
The lodge offers accommodation in separate bedroom cottages, each sleeping two guests. The bedrooms are all placed for different views; whether it is looking at the mountain range, to the nearby ravine, or down the face of the mountains. The cottages enjoy a cool breeze in summer on the mountainside and each unit is a spacious, separate retreat, built around the boma area.
Designed in the style of farm homesteads at the turn of the last century, with balconies to shelter from the sunshine, the main living area features a modern open-plan kitchen with a dining area, lounge with 3D TV and DSTV, and a covered patio with expansive views to the water. There is also a walk-in pantry, separate scullery and a guest cloakroom.
