The town of Komatipoort lies not only on the border of Mozambique and Swaziland; it provides almost direct access to the Kruger National Park. Furthermore the Lion and Leopard Lodge makes for the ideal stop-over accommodation for day visitors to the Kruger National Park or people crossing the border to Maputo.
Besides fully serviced self-catering units that range from family rooms to back packers, the lodge has a well-established restaurant, pub and pizza joint. Sunday Buffets are a traditional custom, allowing one a warm belly after braving the lions who patrol the nearby Kruger National Park.
