About Lindani Game and Lodges

Lindani is situated on a beautiful 3000ha private game farm in the Waterberg, 280kms from Johannesburg. The lodge offers a varied topography; mountains, valleys, perennial streams and rivers, wetlands, kloofs, towering sandstone cliffs, mountain bushveld, open plains, magnificent trees and rock formations. Maps to explore the area are provided in each lodge.

We offer a choice of eight lovingly furnished, secluded lodges and cottages plus a tented camp. Each unit has its own pool. By taking single party bookings only, Lindani offers total privacy. Guests have the freedom to explore the whole property when it suits them. We only request that they respect the privacy of all the other guests. No quad bikes or motorbikes.

We pride ourselves on the warmth and friendliness of our staff, attention to detail and being family friendly.

Lindani is ideal for families, mountain bikers and hikers, with the larger lodges suitable for family gatherings, special occasion, special interest groups and small conferences and workshops for up to 30 delegates; projector and flip charts provided.

The lodges vary in size from four to 18 beds, are fully equipped and very comfortable. All have a swimming pool, gas stoves, a fireplace, an outside sheltered braai area and many have dishwashers and gas braais. Beds can be made up as king size or twins.

Activities include recreational cycling on farm roads, mountain biking on 50kms of first class single track or at the nearby Mountain Bike Park, birding with 200 species to view, guided or unguided game viewing with an excess of 40 species of game including giraffe and a variety of plain game; buffalo are accessible in a separate area. There is also 35kms of Green Flag status hiking trails, rock art visits and picnic spots alongside child-friendly streams.

Facilities on offer include freshly prepared meals and goodies from an extensive menu available from the farm kitchen; please note that meals need to be ordered 5 days before arrival. Accommodation can be un-serviced, partially serviced or fully serviced; this includes child-minding for a few hours a day. There is a shop with local arts, crafts and emergency kitchen items such as tea, coffee, sugar and milk. Cots, high chairs and large-wheel strollers are available for toddlers.

Safari: We have over 40 species of game including giraffe and a variety of plains game. Buffalo in an accessible separate area and over 200 species of birds. We offer guided game drives or walks or you can do it on your own at your own pace.

Wedding Venues: If you are looking for a real bushveld wedding without all the city trimmings this is the place to be. We may not be able to offer the facilities you find at large venues but all the weddings we have had on Lindani have been very special.

Conference Venues: Can accommodate up to 30 people for small conference/workshops. Projector, flip charts, DVD player available

Family friendly: From small families to family get-togethers, family reunions. Game viewing, birding, hiking, mountain biking. Guided or unguided game drives and walks. The freedom to enjoy at your own pace. Kids love Lindani and can't wait to come back.

Lovely place for families..we enjoyed our stay and booked our next trip to Lindani already. Perhaps just change your location on Google Maps as this was incorrect. Most people use Google Maps when traveling to unknown destination.
