About Lentelus Farm

Travel along the scenic Route 62 through the Klein Karoo - a region with a thousand and one different scenarios; mountain passes, historic settlements and villages, and wind-swept semi-arid desert settings contrasting lush green, fertile valleys. Barrydale, like other Little Karoo towns, is enclosed by mountains and wide plateaus. The Tradouw Pass that provides access, is steeped in history and provide breathtaking views.

A stay at Lentelus B&B, in the Orchard Cottage surrounded by pear trees, is an absolute must when visiting this area. In spring the blossoms drift around; in summer sweet-ripe peaches, plums and apples are yours for the picking.

The cottage has a clean, uncluttered approach and is furnished with flair. The luxury suites are light and airy and offer all comforts. Taste prize-winning wines in the Joubert-Tradauw private cellar, or relax at the swimming pool in the beautiful garden. This is South African country life at its best.

We were pleasantly surprised by our one night stay over at Lentelus. The unit comforts are of a high standard. Helena prepaired a great breakfast! Freashly baked bread speaks volumes of the hospitality at Lentelus. Will definately make use of this accommodation again

I spent two nights at Lentelus Farm and really enjoyed my time there. The bedroom was very comfortable and had all that I needed. The hospitality was excellent and the hosts friendly and considerate. What made my stay especially pleasant was being able to appreciate the beauty and space of the farm and the farmhouse garden, as well as the easy access to a well maintained swimming pool.
