About La Petite Ferme

La Petite Ferme is set high on the northern slopes of the magnificent Franschhoek Mountains in a beautiful garden that extends upwards into the Cape's unique fynbos. Overlooking a trout-filled lake and Franschhoek's charming village below, it is the ideal setting for a relaxing weekend of leisure.

For those who wish to escape city life and experience the sheer joy of silence, beauty and unassuming simplicity in a charming country retreat, MontMartre is the ideal destination. Inside the lodges you will find everything you require to make your stay comfortable and unforgettable. Cool in summer because of their higher altitude and cosy in winter with ceramic fireplaces and logs at the door.

Romantic: Situated on the slopes of the Franschhoek Pass, we offer Manor House and Vineyard Suites overlooking the valley. Private, country-style luxury and heart-warming hospitality. Private pools and fireplaces makes this a romantic destination.

Have had a few meals in the past and once again thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and lunch.  Views to die for.  Baboons trashed place but management did make a quick change of accommodation, which we were happy with  Do suggest revamp of the Maison we stayed in and warning notices of baboons put up.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful.  Wine tasting was fun and informative.  Pity can't find the wines at bottle stores up here in Joburg as they are delicious. Rooms were lovely and views amazing.  Don't forget to book meals as they are delicious and the jazz performance on Friday evening makes you just want more.

We stayed in Pear Tree cottage and it was perfect. It had everything we needed and the views were great. I would recommend this for any couples looking for some private peace and quiet.
