About Lambourn's

Lambourn's is a little gem of a place in the quaint gold rush town of Kaapsehoop. Here you will find yourself surrounded by breathtaking views and strange formations of rock made of sand-stone which are ablaze in color with flowering aloes in June and July.

Offering luxurious self-catering accommodation, the unit has three bedrooms with three bathrooms and sleeps six people. The main bedroom has its own balcony with a breath taking view. The open-plan kitchen has all the modern amenities such as a microwave and a stove as well as a dishwasher and a dryer to make your stay comfortable. DStv facilities is available, but guests have to bring their own smartcard. There is also a sky-light which has clear glass to allow for star-gazing on those clear starry nights. You may even see a shooting star to make a wish upon. Regretfully no pets are allowed.

The rock-rabbits sun themselves and watch you with curiosity. The garden is alive with bird song, butterflies and all sorts of little critters. The wild horses are frequently seen in the sleepy village and if you take a hike to the edge of the escarpment you are sure to see them running on the plains. If what you need is to catch your breath and feel alive, then Lambourn's is the place to be.

Wedding Venues: It is the perfect place for a Honeymoon. There is a Chapel in Kaapsehoop also.

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful house with my family. From decor to cleanliness, there are no words to describe how happy we were with our stay. Lambourns is the perfect family home with a great kitchen that has everything you could ask for and more. I loved the out door seating. It is perfectly situated in the middle of Kaapsehoop. I look forward to returning very soon.

The cottage is beautifully decorated, clean and cosy. The garden and view from the back porch is simply magical. The kitchen is well equipped and the gas fireplace, electric blankets and heaters were welcome additions on a cold winters night.  Special touches like chocolates and flowers on our bed and a complimentary bottle of wine made us feel even more welcome. We will be back soon.

We enjoyed a very peaceful 5 nights at Lambourn's. It is cozy and well appointed, managed the power outages with the gas fire. Totally recommend a stay here, we hope to be back.
