About La Mer Sea & Forest Retreat

Come and enjoy our pristine beach which is only a three-minute walk away. Breathe in the pure forest air and relax to the soothing sounds of the ocean.

You will love having the entire bottom floor to yourself during your stay at La Mer, whether you are a solo traveller, couples, friends or a family. When you book you will be the only guests, even if there is only two of you. We have three bedrooms: one with an extra-length, king-size bed, one with an extra-length queen-size bed, and one with a double bed (there is also a cot available for infants); there are also two bathrooms, with a bath and shower.

The dining and lounge areas are spacious and modern, and the kitchen is fully-equipped for all your self-catering needs. The unit is finished off with an outside barbecue area and scenic top back deck. There is a kids' play area in the back private garden. Guests have separate access with a key lock box. We live upstairs and are available to guests if needed.

The attractions that we have around La Mer Sea & Forest Retreat is whale and dolphin watching, fishing, swimming, surfing, fine dining, bird watching, hiking, trail runs and boat rides.

Beach: Only a three-minute walk to our pristine beach! Out of season, the two-kilometre stretched out beach feels like it's your own.

Spa: Treat yourself to an Integrative Healing Treatment which includes massage, bodywork and intuitive energy healing. Treatments are offered on-site in our healing room.

Family friendly: Zero-two-year-olds stay free. Cot for babies on request. Kids' play area in the private back garden. Childrens' dinnerware.

Romantic: When you book you will be the only guests and have the entire guest suite to yourselves. You will have your own separate entrance. Sleep in the huge king-size bed and have two bathrooms with separate shower and bath.
