We had a very poor experience at Kruger View. Despite booking several months in advance, our host wasn't expecting us and put us in a very basic room outside of the main building. The room was clean, but several bugs and spiders crept in during the evening, which didn't go down well with any of us. The pool was dirty and the grounds in very poor repair, with bits of wood and glass stacked under staircases. The seating area inside was nice, but the kitchen facilities were cramped and not particularly clean. The whole place needs a massive re-vamp if it is to live up to the 'upmarket hostel'...

Nous avons trouvée cette auberge très chère (700zar) pour ce que nous y avons trouvé.Des pièces communes bordélique et un acceuil bof. La chambre à la cave était plutôt propre bien que simple.À déconseiller.Translation:We found this hostel very expensive (700zar) for what we found.Common rooms messy. The room in the basement was rather clean though simple. Not recommended.

Bathroom can be improved. They can give visitors a key to enter the house to have early coffee before they leave. Overall the place is not eye catching

Martin, the owner, is a very talk agressive man. He was the person who was going to take me to the Kruger Park on Sunday morning but he didn't get up on time, althought I was calling him from outside the house, and I lose the opportunity to go to the Kruger park and all my effort to be there. With no reason, without taking the responsability of the situation or because he didn't want to give my money back, he became very agressive to me, he yelled to me very hard and chased me out of the hostel. I was really scared. Of course, I don't recomend this place.
