Guests will be accompanied by trained guides in open-air vehicles on all excursions. Kosi Forest Lodge guests are accommodated in luxurious thatched bedrooms well hidden in the sand forest. Our unique open-air en-suite bathrooms have been noted by our guests as one of the highlights of their visit. Mosquito netting lines each bedroom.

Rates include all meals, teas and coffees, a guided canoe trip, a guided walk in raffia forest and a sun down experience. Fees are charged for entering the Kosi Bay Nature Reserve and for using own 4-wheel drive vehicles. The lodge can only be reached by four-wheel drive vehicles, and transfers are available twice daily from the Total Garage in Manguzi.

Both the food and service were wonderful. Outings on the river and forest walls peaceful with cheerful and informative local guides.

The woods, grasslands, and water are quite beautiful; the lodge - accommodation, food, service are all good - but perhaps a little overpriced.

We very much enjoyed the setting - the cabins, (and outdoor bathrooms!)etc and the meals were well presented and for the most part delicious. In conclusion, we had a lovely stay but we found it all in all a bit pricey for what was offered.
