About Kosi Bay Lodge Private Chalets

Kosi Bay Lodge Private Chalets resides within the original Kosi Bay Lodge premises, a lodge that has been running for more than 20 years. Kosi Bay Lodge Private Chalets are privately owned, rustic self-catering chalets that form part of the cohesive Kosi Bay Lodge operations located in Kosi Bay, KwanGwanase. The privately owned chalets consist of either Twin Units sleeping between four to six persons, or Triplet Units sleeping between four to eight people.

Full board or self-catering options are available and all chalets have fully equipped kitchens with private barbecues and access to the boma areas. Accent is on comfort and informal service and attention; our friendly staff are always on hand to assist with information and arranging outings. For the adventurous, there are numerous activities and excursions that fully utilize the many resources available.

Kosi Bay is a place where fishermen can revere their surroundings, with kingfish, queen fish, stumpnose, shad, grunter, mullet and garrick being just a fraction of what is available from the waters of this region. While Kosi Bay has such wonders as the two-armed mudskipper fish and the one-armed fiddler crab, nearby Ndumo Game Reserve sports rather larger wonders of the animal kingdom, including rhino, giraffe, warthog, zebra, kudu, nyala and impala, as well as over 400 bird species.

We enjoyed our stay here. Positives; clean, fully equipped kitchen, friendly maid and gardener who cleaned thouroughly every day, amazing location with private pool. Negatives; reception staff had a bit of an attitude, we were originally not given the chalet we had booked and it took some convincing to swap the keys, we were not prewarned about the need for a bakkie / 4x4 to arrive at the destination

Kosi Bay is a rural, simple, unspoilt part of our country and the chalets are so suited to the area! There is everything you need but in a simple kind of way. no frills and flounces, just plain and simple! Very quiet and peaceful. Just what you need for the area! We will be back!!

BEST EVER!!Me and my newly wed wife enjoyed this place very much. Its the best place to come and relax after a stressfull time. Great service. Food is amazing. Management and staff is very friendly and helpfull. They are busy with the reservations for new bar and restaurant. I can't wait to come back and see what they will acomplish. I would recomend this for everyone. Young couple, family or group of friends. The boat cruise on the three lakesbis a must!
