About Klein Cedarberg Lodge
Surrounded by rugged rock formations, Klein Cedarberg Lodge is located in the 200,000-hectare Swartruggens Conservancy at the very south end of the Cedarberg. A two-and-a-half hour scenic drive from Cape Town brings you to Klein Cedarberg, with only 5 km on a well-maintained gravel road.
Built mostly of stone and thatch, the units have a rustic African feel. To ensure privacy, all have separate entrances and their own outside sitting places under shady thatch roofs. We offer twin or double bedrooms with extra sitting areas around the fireplaces. Meals are served in the 18th Century pioneer house, which also houses an art gallery and studio.
At Klein Cedarberg Lodge there is plenty to keep you entertained. Enjoy ‘nature golf’ where you can play 18-holes through nature. Visit the art gallery or take a trip to the rock paintings. Relax at the rock pools or enjoy a nature walk. Or one can simply kick back and enjoy a good book or stare at the starry sky.
