Klaarfontein Guest Farm is located a mere 5 km from the N3 near Swinburne. It offers self-catering accommodation for up to 15 people. This is an ideal stopover or overnight location if you are on your way to the North Coast or South Coast.
The farmhouse has six bedrooms, three bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and two comfortable lounges with a cosy fireplaces and under-floor heating. The kitchen is well equipped and has a fridge-freezer, a microwave, an electrical oven and all the necessary crockery and cutlery. Ample parking is available. Regular snowfalls occur on the farm during the winter months and it is advisable to make use of a 4x4 vehicle during these periods.
Klaarfontein is close to Van Reenen, Van Reenen's pass, Montrose, Swirnburn and Harrismith.
Klaarfontein is perfect Farm Stay just for relaxation, long walks in the fields, horse riding, fishing and for 4x4 and quad bike enthusiasts as it has a variety of routes to follow in the area. The Wilge River runs through the farm and guests can paddle on a canoe for kilometres, or to the Sterkfontein Dam which is 50 km away. There are plenty fishing opportunities as well as adventure and mountain biking.
There is a minimum payment of R1000 per night regardless of the number of people staying.
