About Kip's Eco Resort
Kip's Eco Resort is nestled in the Nandi Hills, Kenya where the high altitude and clean air allows the famous green tea to thrive. In this land of internationally successful marathon runners, there’s one small tea farm that has been transformed to a cosy and comfortable eco resort; Kip's Eco Resort. Kipkurgat and Chemutai Sawe and their dedicated staff welcome you to experience all the beauties and wonders of the Nandi Hills area. It will be a holiday you’ll never forget.
The lodge has been with environmentally friendly building materials like cured earth, stabilised blocks and locally grown sustainable bamboo timber have been used. The water comes from a natural source and pumped through laws of gravity. Rainwater is harvested and re-used. The central water heating system uses Kunibooster which takes less firewood. A biogas installation to transmute organic waste into an alternative source of fuel and a bio degradable solid and liquid waste management system will be installed in the near future.
