The cottage sleeps four, in two separate bedrooms; the bedrooms each have a doublebed. Local attractions and things to do range from: trout fishing on the Little Mooi on the property: (access to the Bushmans River at Giant's Castle reserve, half an hours drive away), and Highmoor Nature reserve, with two trophy dams, 15 minutes away. (Highmoor is one of the best still water fisheries in the country; booking essential), a visit to the Crane Rehabilitation Centre, San Rock Art at both Kamberg Nature reserve and at Giant's Castle reserve, to horse trails nearby (booking essential), golf, excellent hiking opportunities in three Nature Reserves where Eland abound, a simple picnic on the banks of the Little Mooi (on the property). Very disappointed. Struggled to reach the hosts beforehand, and when we arrived, they weren't there, only a friend(I guess) off theirs who tried to valiantly to help but couldn't really. Cottage was old, and poorly kept. Although clean on the surface, the curtains and oven was dirty. Paint peeling of the wall. Defnitely not worth the R1400 per night we were charged. Kamberg Valley was beautiful though.

Nice and old little cottage with all the necessary facilities and a well equipped kitchen. Wonderful surroundings and nature. Friendly and very nice hosts.

Very beautiful view. We felt relaxed and we really enjoyed the farm atmosphere. Close to Giants Castle.

Debbie and Franco are excellent hosts and the scenery is exceptional. I look forward to seeing it in Summer.
