Kiboko Bay Resort
About Kiboko Bay Resort
Kiboko Bay Resort has been consistently rated among the best Kisumu hotels, giving the discerning traveller the luxury of embracing the ‘safari feel’ of an African adventure in absolute comfort. Kiboko Bay Resort is set on the shores of the majestic Lake Victoria in Kisumu, the third largest city in Kenya. The idyllic lakeside setting is a perfect getaway for romantic trysts, or for overworked corporates to recharge their batteries.
The resort is endowed with amazing charms and natural attractions; for some the attraction of the lake is its sheer expanse and for others it is the vibrant bird life. Enjoy gliding through the waters of the lake absorbing the beauty of the unspoilt wetlands and mangrove forests, and soak in the splendid sunsets on the shimmering sweet waters.
Kiboko Bay Resort offers premier accommodation in nine permanent and spacious en-suite tents, as well as one deluxe cottage. Each of the permanent tents is built on a raised wooden deck beneath the cool, comforting canopy of thatched roofs with expansive views of Kavirodo Bay and the distance Islands of Ndere and Moboko.
The well-stocked bar emphases the nautical concept, and you will find your favourite tipple, from lager beers to aged single-malt and cognacs. Guests can order from our extensive a-la-carte menu, or choose to dine formally in our perfectly set art deco restaurant, exhibiting contemporary art on canvas by budding native artists. Guests can also choose to feast alfresco, overlooking the bay, at the terrace, of by the poolside.
The azure outdoor pool, with baby pool, offers a cool shaded respite from the blistering Kisumu sun. High speed Wi-Fi internet access is available to Kiboko Bay residents.
Kiboko Bay Resort is a jogging distance from the high street, the Impala Park and the Dunga Fishing Village.
