Kibo Guest House is a self-catering guest house located in the Amboseli National Park, Kajiado District, of the Rift Valley Province. The park is 230 km from Nairobi and lies close to the Tanzanian border with magnificent views of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro.
Kibo Guest House comprises two bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen, and an open-plan lounge and dining area. The first bedroom contains a double bed and a single bed, and the second bedroom contains twin single beds. The bathroom contains a bath, shower, and a toilet. Bed linen, bath towels and complimentary toiletries are provided.
The kitchen is well equipped and includes a gas stove, fridge, kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery, and glasses. The dining area leads off the lounge. The lounge leads through doors to a veranda. A caretaker is available.
The park offers spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Meru, and large elephant herds are often viewed in an unusual swamp habitat. More than 425 species of birds have been recorded, and plenty of wildlife species can be spotted including lion, cheetah, leopard, elephant, zebra, hippo, black rhino, Maasai giraffe, oryx, wildebeest, gerenuk, impala and Grant’s gazelle.
The balance should be paid at least 7 days before the day of use. Clients are advised that these are not luxurious facilities and provide the basics for a reasonably comfortable stay. KWS accepts no liability for damage to property or injury to the occupants during their stay in the facility.

The Park gate opening hours are: Daily 6.00 a.m. - 7.00 p.m. including public holidays. Note: no entry is allowed on foot and visitors will not be allowed entry after 6.15 p.m. Entry is by SafariCard only; cards can be obtained and loaded at Meshanani Gate. A four-wheel drive vehicle is recommended, especially during the rainy season. see more
