This is our 3rd stay at Karoo National Park. The cottage lacks maintenance. The TV's sound was not working, the bathroom basin 's plug did not fit. Paint peeling from wall in bedroom. Die breakfast menu while it seems appetising is disappointing. Garnish looked old. It added nothing to the plate and is best left off. The food lacked taste. The dining room furniture and decor is old and outdated. The entire hall is in dire need of a face lift..The only highlight was the friendly staff.

We had an incredible experience at the campsite. The ablution blocks were very clean and the toaster and water boiler were an absolute luxury compared to other campsites. We had beautiful views and amazing sightings. All the people at the campsite were also all so lovely and friendly. Amazing hot water and pressure.

It was lovely to be in the park and enjoy the game, dusk and dawn. We enjoyed the walks and the drives took us to the game. Even saw 2 lions mating.
