Kanya Lodge, 227 kwalata, is the ideal lodge for a quiet getaway from city life. It is a privately owned lodge inside the Mabalingwe nature reserve situated 28 km from Bela Bela and 140 km from Pretoria.Tucked away in the bush with three en-suite bedrooms, you can sit on the patio and watch game come right up to the lodge. A private pool, a boma and an open braai facility completes the picture, plus there are bush showers so one can really experience nature. Do game viewing in your own vehicle or arrange a game drive in the morning or late afternoon with the Mabalingwe Reception when you book in.
We have a spa on the reserve. Guests can book at the Mabalingwe reception upon arrival.
The lodge will be cleaned and sanitised by trained staff before arrival. We keep a minimum gap of 1 day between check-outs and check-ins to provide ample time to thoroughly clean and disinfect all areas. NO DAILY SERVICING.

NO MUSIC ALLOWED INSIDE OR OUTSIDE LODGE. WE HAVE A LOW NOISE POLICY.
The Administration fee is the breakages deposit of R 1000.00 which is required before arrival. This will be refunded after inventory has been checked and shortages/breakages deducted from the R 1000.00.
WE ARE READY TO ACCEPT GUESTS IN A COVID-19 WORLD. Our cleaning company are working to ensure that they meet the latest guidance on hygiene and cleaning. We want our guests to feel confident that when they stay in our lodge, it has been cleaned and sanitised thoroughly.
Our lodge have a "No Contact" rule. No daily cleaning service is provided.
