Nestled within the stunning wilderness of Sinya and Elerai, this semi-arid land is teeming with natural marvels that will leave you spellbound. It is here that you will discover some of the largest elephants in all of East Africa, roaming freely in their natural habitat.



Sinya, a private concession spanning over 600 square kilometers, borders the renowned Amboseli National Park in Kenya. Prepare to be captivated by the extraordinary landscapes, with glorious vistas of Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru, Ol Doinyo Longido, and Ol Doinyo Orok. This unique location is one of the few places on the continent where magnificent elephant bulls, aged over 50 years, adorned with impressive tusks, are regularly sighted. Many of these majestic creatures, along with their herds of mothers and calves, have made Sinya their permanent home. In their quest for water and nourishment, they used to migrate between the swamps of Amboseli National Park and the Acacia woodlands just across the border. This extraordinary population of elephants, monitored by Cynthia Moss in Amboseli for over 25 years, represents one of the healthiest and most well-balanced in all of Africa.



Scattered sparingly throughout Sinya are enchanting Masai bomas, with a total population of only 2,000 individuals inhabiting this vast territory. The Masai people here continue to live in harmony with their traditions, untouched by the commercialization often found in more popular tourist destinations.
