About Jo-A-Lize Lodge

Jo-A-Lize Lodge awaits you in the beautiful and tranquil surroundings in the heart of the iSimangiliso Wetland Park. This elegant yet affordable lodge boasts 25 beautifully decorated rooms and is ideally situated on the banks of the St Lucia Estuary which is home to countless hippos, crocodiles and magnificent bird life.

A dip in our sparkling swimming pool is the perfect way to cool down and guests can relax in our scenic lounge area after a day of exciting sightseeing. We cater for individual guests and tour groups with the aim of making any stay an unforgettable one.

Package deals including lunch, dinner and breakfast can be arranged and various tours in and around the iSimangaliso Wetland Park are available on request.

                                  First of all, the pictures on the website is very misleading and it should be illegal for people to use pictures portraying such untruths.The pool is not sparkling or blue, in fact it had a green tinge of algae and was not suitable to swim in. When we arrived at the family unit we booked the one bedroom had no lights working except for one of the bed lamps. The following day we reported it to the front desk reception where the complaint was met with a blank stare and no indication that it would be fixed. We returned and as expected it was not fixed. Our neighbours were also very noisy playing...

                                  Situated on the main road so very close to all the restaurants. The lodge has all the usual features all kept clean and tidy. Very nice included breakfast. Free WiFi but a little weak.
