About Jamila Game Lodge
Set in the northern side of the Welgevonden Private Game Reserve, this Big 5 private game lodge is set in a piece of pristine African wilderness. Surrounded by the ancient Waterberg Mountains, abundant wildlife and unspoiled African bush, Jamila Lodge offers guests an intimate and relaxed safari experience.With five beautifully appointed chalets, we accommodate a maximum of 10 guests at a time. Surrounded by striking Seringa trees and spectacular views from the hilltops, each chalet has an en-suite bathroom, an outside shower, and a private deck and Jacuzzi. Experience simple luxury in your beautiful chalet and enjoy the personalized service. A feast of flavours will complete your experience with meals being served in different locations every night. You can dine on the main deck or in lamp light alongside the gently illuminated waterhole. Guests can round off their break by enjoying a wonderful supper in the boma.Snacks such will be served with the sun downers in the bush on the afternoon game drive. Biscuits, rusks, tea and coffee is served on the early game drive.Dinner consists of a variety of three meats when a boma supper is requested. A choice of two meats is available when dinner is requested in other location; such as the deck. Two game drives per day are conducted by our experienced nature guide, who has been working on the Welgevonden Game Reserve for many years. With his exceptional knowledge of the animals and the area, game drives will certainly be a highlight.
