The restaurant was dreadful. The hosts had little idea of how or what is needed to run a comfortable lodge. The very word lodge gives a false impression

We enjoyed the farm atmosphere created by the views, animals, smells and night sounds. . The family room was neat , comfortable and spacious but noisy due to the kitchen being right next to it. We expected farm style food but disappointingly it included items like calamari and coctail pork sausages instead of lamb tjops , boerewors , fresh home made bread etc.
