Very friendly staff. We were made to feel at home from the start. We love the Wild Coast vibe and understand at the price the accommodation cannot be 5 star but there comes a time when every hospitality establishment needs to be refreshed. Unit 18 has reached this point. Please Mr. Lang can you just give your cottage the revamp it deserves. Some stools around the counter and new (or even repainted in part) indoor and outdoor furniture, bedding and softs would be appreciated.

We stayed in one of the Self Catering Cottages which was more than adequate and had everything we needed. The Hole in the Wall Hotel staff were amazing and helped us out with everything! They made us feel so welcome! The Manageress, Lynne was so lovely and even sent some of her staff after us to ensure that we left the area safely as the roads were pretty awful on the day we left because of the rain! We had a truly wonderful time in this beautiful area!

Rustic accomodation, far away from the crowds. Not necessarily everyone's cup of tea, but enjoyed the surrounding. Unfortunately, accommodation needs a bit of upgrading at the price being charged. Initially ended up in a cabin (number H2) which reaked of creole (used to treat wood) that was suffocating. This, unknowingly to me and not evident on the booking site, was a privately owned cabin for which hotel management itself has limited responsibility over. Owner's response was that nothing could be done about it. Fortunately, hotel manager made alternate arrangement to occupy another vacant...

Hi, We did not enjoy our stay in Chalet No. H2, The directions was bad, No markings at all so we can identify the chalet. The gate was seized and needed 4 people to reset it on the rails in order to open and shut the gate. the windows were either seized open and some were seized shut. The water just runs out while in the shower.every member of family were bitten by some bug during the night. The oven did not work properly and although I reported it immediately to reception no one attended to the oven in the 5 days we were there. The Chalet is not a preference for us.Kind Regards.Dan Moodley
