Hadley Guest Farm
About Hadley Guest Farm
This rustic little cottage lies in a secluded mountain valley on the Hadley Guest Farm, just outside of Port Elizabeth.
Aptly named Gooseberry, the cottage has a weathered and well-loved exterior, with a pickled-red timber roof and glass-panned windows, this is country living.
Surrounded by the lazy mountain slopes in a valley of green, the property offers a serene and peaceful feeling, away from the repetition of city life.
Upon waking, all that’s on the agenda is the pure enjoyment of nature. Hiking trails, waterfalls, mountain biking and bird watching are just some of the things to do. Resting in the shade with a good book, will definitely top any list.
The Gooseberry Cottage can accommodate a total of eight guests respectively. The open plan living area has a large fireplace in the kitchen that warms the whole cottage on a chilly night, while the sitting room area is just one of the many quiet places to relax. Outside a large fire pit allows for many memorable evenings spent outside under the stars.
