About Grey Goose Game Lodge
Grey Goose is a beautiful 1000-acre game farm with stunning scenery, situated just outside of Newcastle. The farm boasts over 900 head of game and 3 km of river frontage.
There are 29 comfortable guest rooms available; equipped with double- or single beds, en-suite bathrooms, TVs with selected DStv channels, and air-conditioning.
The Gooseberries is a fully licensed a-la-carte restaurant with a fireplace, catering for lodge guests and the public. It features various lounge areas, outdoor seating areas, a bar and a lovely patio area overlooking the adjacent Drakensberg Mountains.
Activities on the farm include game drives, horse riding, hiking trails and fishing on request.
The Main Function Hall is expandable and can seat up to 450 people; fitted with air-conditioning, a bar, a cosy lounge and an open-air deck with lovely mountain views. The Gazebo is placed next to the swimming pool, ideal for smaller functions, seating up to 60 people. The Conference Room is air-conditioned and fully equipped, seating up to 70 people.
