About Gonjah Chalet
Gonjah Chalet is located amongst the indigenous forest just outside of Patensie in the Gamtoos River Valley. The property offers a cosy cottage sleeping seven guests, as well as a campsite. The accommodation offers an ideal location for those looking for a rural yet comfortable stay.
The chalet is fully equipped for self-catering and offers two small bedrooms. The lounge area has a cosy fireplace and leads onto the open-plan dining area and kitchen. There is no electricity but gas and a braai facility is available. The open deck is the ideal spot to do some bird watching and enjoy the fresh air.
The campsite is set next to a mountain stream and is surrounded by yellowwood trees. Basic facilities are available with hot showers and flush toilets, and braai wood is also provided for a warm camp fire.
Activities in the area include two 4X4 trails, hiking trails, fresh water fishing, cycling trails and a golf course is just 15 km away. The region is well-known for its isolation and tranquility.
