Gatto Grasso is self-catering accommodation in the seaside village of Leisure Bay along the KwaZulu-Natal coast. Gatto Grasso consist of three Studio Apartments and a Three-bedroom house. The Studio Apartments are well-equipped for self-catering and each has its own private entrance. The Three-bedroom House has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, and open-plan living area with a kitchen, lounge and dining area. The living area leads to a large entertainment deck. This accommodation is within walking distance to swimming beaches, Kinderstrand and Peter Pan Beach while Wild Coast Sun is approximately 9 km away.

1. General:

1.4 Admittance and use of facilities is at own risk and acceptance of the quote indemnifies the owner against any losses, damages and/or injuries.
1.5 We supply bedding, cutlery, stove, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster – no towels are supplied.
1.6 Linen is provided and will not be replaced every day. Linen will only be changed every 5 days of continuous stay.
1.7 No loud music, noise, disturbance or pets allowed.
1.8 Units are not serviced by us, but are received in a clean condition and must be in the same condition when guests vacate. Any damages, breakages, losses or extra cleaning fee for dirty dishes left behind, will be charged to guests.
1.9 On leaving, please switch off all the plugs, close all windows, draw the curtains and lock the door.
1.10 Refuse collection is on Tuesdays. All refuse must be placed in a black refuse bag and placed in the green steel refuse holder on the verge. Please ensure that all refuse is placed in the green refuse holder before leaving.
1.11 On departure, if there are no other persons staying in the accommodation, please lock the chain at the entrance and return your keys as per arrangement.


2. Bookings/ reservations:
2.1 Unconfirmed bookings will only be held for 24 hours from time of response.
2.2 Bookings will only be confirmed upon receipt of signed conditions of stay and your 50% accommodation deposit and a copy of the client’s identity document.
2.3 The number of persons is limited to the number of beds in the unit, unless prior arrangements have been made.
2.4 A person is any adult or child, regardless of age, including babies.
2.5 No guests are permitted to stay over, unless prior arrangements have been made.
2.7 Should guests stay over without prior arrangements, you will forfeit your deposit and will be required to vacate the unit immediately.


3. Deposits and Balance Payments
3.1 A 50% deposit must be made to confirm the booking.
3.2 The final 50% payment must be made ten (10) days prior to arrival.
3.3 The only forms of payment are cash or EFT (payment to be reflected in the deposit account).
3.4 A breakage deposit in the amount of R350 – being a refundable deposit – must be paid with the balance of payment, which is excluded in the quote.
3.5 Upon arrival, the client will verify the correctness of the inventory against of the inventory list and report any damages/discrepancies / untidiness at least within an hour of arrival. If none of such is recorded, it will be accepted that the client is in agreement with the inventory and condition of the unit.
3.6 The unit will be left in the same condition that it was found. The deposit will only be returned if the unit is left in the same condition without any damages / discrepancies. The deposit will be returned via EFT.

Tariffs are seasonal and is as follows:

In-season applies to Easter School holidays (March / April), Christmas School Holidays (December / January), Public Holidays – Long Weekends.
Mid-season applies to June/July and September/October school holidays.
Low Season applies to all periods outside Mid-Season and In Season.

I love the entire house..felt like home it quiet and relaxing....hmmmm balcony is superb.what I wold like them to improve is to spray often for mosquito if there will be people to use the place.

the place is great but there were no towels yet the beach is a stone throw away,bathroom essentials as well we're not there

We found the place neat and tidy which was spacious and comfortable with all amenities; my family had a wonderful stay I will recommend this venue to my friends and family. The roof top braai area was brilliant and spacious for our party and celebrations. The walk to and from the beach was a breeze; swimming in the beach was safe with life guards on duty during the day.
