"THE KAROO IS NOT AS MUCH A PLACE AS A FEELING, IT ENTERS THROUGH YOUR BLOODSTREAM - TAKING ITS TIME TO UNFOLD UNTIL ITS TIME TO LEAVE, THEN YOU REALISE ITS TAKEN A HOLD OF YOUR SOUL.."Guest Farm is located 19 km after Three Sisters towards Bloemfontein next to(800m from) the N1, and is a fully operational Merino sheep- and Mohair goat farm. Here you can relax, go hiking and mountain climbing or simply observe a variety of wildlife and birds. Enjoy your stay in one of the six units that was once a farmhouse built in 1943. Each unit has one main bedroom with open-plan living room and kitchen for self-catering if requested. Three of the units can sleep a family of six. Two of the units sleep four people and the last unit sleeps two people. A cool, refreshing swimming pool is also available after a long and hot summer's drive.Meals are available on request and a light Continental breakfast consisting out of dry breakfast cereals is served in the units included in the price with coffee&tea facilities,rusks. Dinner and a farm breakfast is served at the main homestead at extra cost. Your hosts, Danie and Annalise Marais, are always ready to welcome you with their warm and friendly Karoo hospitality.

              GaMamadi is a lovely guesthouse and Annalize the host was very friendly and accommodating to us and our two dogs. Beautiful room and delicious dinner. Will definitely be stopping here again.

              We booked in for an overnight stop on our drive from Jhb to Cape Town. The room was comfortable with a double bed and bunk beds for my 2 boys. As soon as we arrived, my boys were in the swimming pool, which was cool and refreshing. It allowed them to burn some energy after being stuck in the car the whole day. Food was excellent and Annelise was a great host. She was always around to chat to, but never got in your way.
