About Funzi View
Funzi View offers accommodation on Funzi Island. This comfortably furnished tent set on the beach, and is ideal for couples looking for a private retreat.
The tents has African decor and is the only one on the plot – making is almost completely private. The room includes a spacious bathroom with two waterfall showers and two separate washing basins. The bedroom is spacious, with silk decor on the roof, and the sitting area has enough room for just relaxation.
Funzi Island is known for its pristine beaches and as Kenya's best nesting site for a variety of sea turtles. Popular excursions for visitors in Funzi are the crocodile safari in the nearby Ramisi River or to going on a cultural tour in the village and enjoy a traditionally cooked lunch.
At low tide, a number of spectacular sand banks emerge from the ocean around Funzi - providing a playground for a few hours until the ocean rises and washes away all trace of visitors.
Boat and road transport to and from Diani/Ukunda is available at an additional fee.
