About Fox and Squirrel

Situated in the little town of Dullstroom, Fox and Squirrel offers a memorable stay to groups and families visiting this scenic part of Mpumalanga. It borders the Dullstroom Nature Reserve, making it a great choice for nature enthusiasts.

This cosy cottage has four lovely bedrooms. Two of the rooms have double beds and beautiful Victorian claw tubs in the rooms. Each of the other two rooms has two twin beds and an en-suite bathroom.

The comfortable lounge invites guests to relax on the couch and keep warm in front of the fireplace. Guests can prepare delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen and enjoy them on the patio. Have breakfast while appreciating views of the dam and Suikerboskoppie.

Guests can spend their days exploring this area, or by visiting the nearby reserve. Fishing enthusiasts will not be disappointed when honing their skills at one of two nearby dams. After a day filled with adventure, unwind on the patio with a braai while waiting for twilight to fall.

Perfect location for a short getaway. Unfortunately on arrival half of the lightbulbs in the cottage didn't work, it wasn't clean (microwave was covered in old food and grease) and there was just a small amount of wet wood for the fireplace so we had to go and find other wood in town. Not very welcoming if you arrive late on a cold evening and want to make a fire. The cottage needs some maintenance and attention to detail.
