Our mountainous scenery owes much of its rugged charm to the Paleozoic sedimentary rocks, dating back to 355 million years ago. This valley can be visited through out the year as each season reveals a gloriously secret beauty, specially for bird watching, hiking, fishing, picnics, cycling and resting. Enjoy tranquil surroundings and real farm peacefulness.
The Fossil Hills Cottage is a beautiful self-catering, fully equipped farm cottage with two bedrooms, bathroom (shower and bath), open plan lounge and kitchen, cozy fireplace and patio. Accommodation for four people. Equipped with an indoor as well as an outdoor fire and braai facilities. Well-known McGregor cellar is within a radius of 3 kilometer as well as the Donkey Sanctuary and the charming village of McGregor. It’s private and perfect for a getaway weekend or holiday.
