The owners were really friendly and helpful. Our stay was very comfortable, the rooms was clean and well equipped.Note that some of the information on the website about the putting green and river access are a little out of date. Fish Eagles Lodge isn't so much a destination in itself but if you're looking for somewhere to stay close to Addo Park then it's perfect.

The situation of the lodge is really beautiful, with stunning views over the river. However we had really bad weather with rain which made it unenjoyable. There was no cover over the deck in case of bad weather and our rooms weren't ready for over an hour and we wanted to relax after travelling. I did not like the fact that the lounge and dining room are part of the family home.

Very nice and tranquil however here some suggestions. A bar fridge in the room a must and preferably a TV and it would have been perfect.

Sue and Steve made us very welcome at Fish Eagles Lodge, and we had a most enjoyable stay. The position next to the river is beautiful, the rooms are well-appointed and comfortable, and there is a lot to see and do in the surrounding area. I only wish that we could have stayed for longer!
