Fish Eagle Point
About Fish Eagle Point
Secluded, pristine, ‘far from the madding crowds’ and eco-friendly, Fish Eagle Point is Tanzania’s latest beach resort with a difference.
Located north of the historic city of Tanga, the setting is beachfront, backed by a coastal forest, mangroves and ancient coral cliffs; truly idyllic.
Together with minimal environmental impact and locally sourced materials, accommodation is a tasteful vision of tradition that’s blends harmoniously with its surroundings.
All rooms are open and airy, with high ‘makuti’ thatch roofs, for cool air flow. All have en-suite facilities with flush toilets and hot and cold showers. Mosquito nets are custom made for each bed. Each room has a lockable secure room for your peace of mind. Baby cots with nets are available.
The warm Indian ocean, at both high and low tides, is a treat for swimming with high tides reaching well up into the bay and spring tides almost lapping the rooms. Snorkeling at any time around our lagoon, the drop off or at higher tides in and around the mangroves, is a must.
Family friendly: We have a dedicated children's area with different board games, coloring pages and a TV set.
